Pastor's Commentary: I had 3 different people ask me on Sunday if I would be willing to post my teaching notes online so they could be used for personal study and review. I happily obliged! My notes can be found below the sermon video of each teaching. I've also tried to clean them up a bit so they're more legible. I pray this modest contribution to the Word will honor the Lord and serve you well! — Pastor Greg

The Big Truth: God fights for those who trust in him.
Summary: In the Bible, God helped the Israelites cross the Jordan River by stopping the water flow, allowing them to walk on dry ground. Then, they conquered the city of Jericho by following God's plan to march around the city and shout, causing the walls to fall down. This was a big victory for Israel, and God saved Rahab and her family because of her faith.
Connection to Jesus: Through Jesus, all our enemies like sin, death, and Satan will be defeated, and we will have victory. In the new heaven and earth, there will be wonderful things like giant grapes, clean rivers, green hills, and beautiful trees. People from all nations will be there to share in joy, peace, and love. The best part is that we will have never-ending fellowship with God. This amazing place is not just for a specific group but for everyone who believes in God's promises and trusts in Jesus. Rahab, who was once an enemy, believed in God's promises and was saved, showing that this promise is for all who believe.
