Having discovered all of the wonderful truths of justification by faith in our previous devotion — that we are declared right with God once and for all through Christ's righteousness — we must now turn to another important word which further adds weight to this marvelous doctrine.
You will notice that Paul does not only say that we are justified, but at greater length adds that we are being justified. Being justified. This speaks of an ongoing and continual action. God has, therefore, not only declared you righteous, but also continues to declare you righteous. Your justification before God is constant and perpetual.
Just as the angels around God’s throne room declare, "Holy, Holy Holy” both night and day in worship of Him — so too does God from His throne room declare, "Justified, Justified, Justified" to those who have put their faith in Jesus. I have asked before, and I must ask again: Who can stop this sovereign declaration over you? There isn't a man, an angel, a principality or power that can stop this divine verdict!
Formerly, it was the law which stopped a man from justifying himself before God (see Romans 3:19). But now, it is God’s justification of us which stops the mouth from condemning itself. Because you are justified, you are no longer to live under condemnation, guilt or shame.
Satan hates this ongoing declaration from God, no doubt. The Scriptures call the devil "The Accuser of the brethren" (see Revelation 12:10), for that is what he does. Night and day the devil is accusing you before God but his words fall to the ground every time. Why? Because Satan has nothing of which to accuse you. God simply says, "Have you considered my servant Jesus? He has justified that man of which you accuse.”
Friend, God will always defend you and tell that wicked accuser his case is folly, for Jesus has mediated on your behalf.
Beloved, I pray that you would soak this in and allow it to be the joy of your heart. Let this simple truth of ongoing and constant justification from God's throne wash over you with the most blessed assurance of your salvation! Justification does not have an expiration date. You are eternally secure by the spoken Word of God who has declared and will continue forever to declare you right with Him.

This verse speaks of anticipation. Our salvation in Christ automatically comes with future expectation of what's to come. This phrase “looking for” might best be understood by observing the excitement a child has for Christmas morning to...

In context of Solomon’s words, the *heart* refers one’s values and convictions, whether they be good or evil. In this way, a man’s heart is all that he stands for and all that he is. If his heart is godly then he as a man will do that...
