Imagine looking out your window, seeing the light cut across the fields, and illuminating the landscape, but the light doesn't come from the sun, but from the glory of God. Imagine stepping out of your front door and instead of asphalt and gravel or wood, you are surrounded by precious stones and gold as plentiful as dirt. Imagine a world without any death, without a Satan, and without sin — not even a trace or remembrance. Imagine starting your day with the possibility of endless adventures — in perfect communion with all mankind, and with full access to the throne of God. These are only a few of the wonders that await us in the glorious future to come. But that's not even the best part. Today in God's word, we are closing up the book of Revelation by studying the new heaven and the new earth. This will be set in order after the millennial reign of Christ.
